ENDING PERIOD POVERTY, TOGETHER.
WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO...
We’re tackling period poverty in the UK by making it easy for people to donate menstrual products and get people comfortable talking about periods.
We do this by recruiting ‘Bloody Ambassadors’ to take one of our boxes into their office/school/college and encourage their colleagues or peers to donate to a chosen charity of their choice.
We are passionate about periods and tackling period poverty and believe everyone can make an impact with the right tools.
Bloody Box Project is an initiative that was started by 3 colleagues as an idea for a works Christmas social action day in 2018. We raised so many menstrual donations that we saw the need for every office to have a Bloody Box.
Fast track to 2019 and we started getting requests from students who wanted to help tackle period poverty. We now supply offices, schools and universities with Bloody Boxes.
